Television producer and host Melissa Rivers is the new owner of this 2015-built contemporary Cape Cod-style home. The In Bed with Joan co-creator paid $7.77 million for the 4,888 sq. ft. home, according to Dirt.

The house is situated in Pacific Palisades. It sports an exterior with a classic blue-on-white color scheme, with a gated walk with white brick pilasters in the foreground. Inside the house, a few surprises await. The formal dining room’s panoramic wall covering is a classic accent, and one not seen in many newer homes. The children’s playroom occupies the other end of the spectrum, and represents a welcome blast of color and whimsy.

The master bedroom features a fireplace, and a bath and dressing room with a traditional-style soaking tub, but a few of the other bedrooms—there are five in all, and six baths—boast similarly luxurious layouts, and at least one is a suite. In back, the property develops nicely as a fair-weather retreat, with a swimming pool, a patio, lawn sections, and a brick fireplace lounge with a grill.

Rivers sold her Santa Monica home last month for nearly $16 million.
