All-Star MLB player Blake Snell hefted this gulf-side Florida waterfront estate up for sale in January of this year with a $1.4 million asking price. In a happy turn of events, the pro-ball pitcher sold the St. Petersburg property early in the springtime for a bit over ask, accepting an offer of $1.436 million for the home as he transitions from Tampa Bay to San Diego according to a trade finalized late last year.
According to the listing, Snell pumped $200K into the outdoor recreation area, which now sports custom lighting, a covered patio with fire feature, and a new pool with ambient lighting. A new sun deck, chaise lounges, water-jet arch, spa, kitchen with grill, outdoor sound system from Sonos, and a new dock with boat and jet-ski lifts have also been added.
The house saw renovations as well, per the listing, including new carpet in the bedrooms. It now features a very appealing mix of grayscale tones, and warm tile and plank hardwood floors. It measures 2,952 sq. ft., and contains four bedrooms and two baths, a kitchen with a natural gas cook top, and impact-resistant windows.
