To close out winter 2021, actress, model and TV personality Pamela Anderson listed her lovely and ecologically sensitive rustic modern in Malibu on the open market. The 5,500 sq. ft. home arrives with an asking price of $14.9 million.

The lot abuts the Malibu lagoon, and sits within the Colony. The exterior is defined by a wealth of weathered timber and glass, and it’s nicely framed by a border of mature trees and shrubs. It was completed in 1959, but reminds of the more naturalistic moderns of the 1970s.

There are four bedrooms in the home, including a master with a second glass-fronted fireplace and sliding glass doors that open to an outdoor deck; the bath is outfitted with spa frippery and a sauna. Matte-finished plank is used exclusively—or nearly so—for flooring in this house.

Outdoor living areas include a rooftop deck, and one on ground level surrounding a very private little pool.
