With one home in Beverly Hills on the market at $7.175 million, professional skier Lindsey Vonn has purchased another: a renovated 1948-built traditional. The former U.S. Ski Team member and four-time World Cup winner paid $3.4 million for the 3,420 sq. ft. residence.
The three-bedroom home’s exterior has been given a classic look by way of white paint and black trim. Interiors are preceded by a gated slate walkway and pilasters, and begin with an open foyer that transitions to the common areas. The house is light-filled and tasteful.
Interior details include hardwood flooring throughout, a marble living room fireplace, and an enclosed staircase. The kitchen boasts a vaulted ceiling, and mixes a little stainless, brass fixtures, and marble countertops. The living room is a step-down, and features a set of French doors that open to the front of the property; French doors also feature in the kitchen and formal dining room.
The property lot extends to about a quarter acre, and is filled out with a pool, a guest house or studio, and outdoor living and dining area.
