Toward the end of 2017—around the ’tween-holiday stretch—rap artist Big Sean purchased this house from Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash; $8.7 million changed hands as the Les Paul-slinger moved out and the improvisational poet moved in.
Fast forward four years, and it’s Big Sean’s turn to turn over the home. This month, the rapper and producer hefted the modern Spanish-style onto the open market for $12.495 million.
The 10,971 sq. ft. home contains seven bedrooms and eight baths. Big Sean lightened and brightened, and the rock-and-roll atmosphere has been traded for understatement. A music studio, home cinema and outdoor living area with fireplace, pool, and spa top the list of amenities.
Big Sean has released five studio albums; all have reached the number one spot on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart, with his last three also topping the Billboard 200 chart.
