To put the finishing touch on his move to the Atlantic coast of Florida, Sylvester Stallone recently took delivery of a Rapid-blue 2021 Corvette convertible.

As a thrilling getabout to fill out the lifestyle choice settled by his closing, last month, on an estate in Palm Beach, the Stingray is something of an ideal accessory.

Sly opted to wear blue for the photo shoot, driving home the point that a man’s wardrobe should never clash with the color of his sports car. The capper was a dark blue newsboy cap that recalled his late ’seventies directorial debut, when he wrestled with the themes of Paradise Alley.

The C8 Corvette has been something of a hometown-boy-makes-good case for American auto manufacturing, most notably in the sports car niche, a once-competitive corner of the automotive marketplace.

Stallone’s Beverly Hills home recently hit the market with a $110 million price tag.
