In the fall of 2019, NBA star Steph Curry bought into the Bay Area uber-neighborhood of Atherton, dropping $31 million for a green contemporary with a complex identity. This winter finds the Golden State Warriors player selling a far more modest residence just down the road apiece, in Menlo Park.
Curry picked up the stucco 1,240 square-footer in 2019, and paid $1.2 million for it. The home was likely purchased as a guest house, because it returns to the market less than two years later at $1.349 million.
The three-bedroom, one-bath home features a streetside impression dressed up with a front door in soft yellow, a pleasingly thoughtful and inviting contrast to the gray-blue exterior. Inside, the slickly renovated interiors feature a nice mix of wood tones—pale floors, warm exposed beams—and culminate in a galley kitchen with floating shelves and a gray-scale scheme. Barn doors and stone tile were also worked into the recent sprucing.
