Land Rover maven Overfinch’s newest offerings include the eye-catching and tagline-like title The Overfinch Velocity Final Edition gracing a visually arresting Range Rover, but we’re big on heritage and the Land Rover Defender too, so the Overfinch Heritage gets a look in our auto files this week.
The Overfinch Heritage comes from the British firm’s relatively new Virginia production facility. Like other automotive modification/restoration projects targeting the Defender, it is a hat-tipping to a classic and an idealizing of an original, simultaneously homage and iconography; it is similarly limited, with only 12 planned for production.
Overfinch begins the build with a 1990s Defender. Like the Velocity Final Range Rover, the exterior color scheme is black-on-white. A ‘modern crate engine and transmission,’ to quote the company, have been added.
