This month, Audi announced pricing for the Q5 Sportback variants for the 2021 model year.
The two additions to the best-selling Q5 family of mid-upper range sport vehicles come in three trim levels—Prestige, Premium Plus, and Premium—and boast a series of Q5 options as standard, including 19-inch wheels, sport seats, head up display, panoramic sunroof, and ‘Audi Virtual Cockpit’ digital instrument cluster.
The two feature exterior styling that enhances their identity—Audi has always been noted for originality and beautiful line—with a fastback-inspired roof gradient and very smooth corners. Even the roof rails have been removed in these versions.
The available drivetrains include the familiar I4 in the Q5 Sportback—making the same 261 horsepower as it does in the regular Q5—and a V6 in the SQ5 Sportback, which makes 349 horsepower.
The Sportback Q5 comes with a base sticker of $49K; the performance-enhanced SQ5 Sportback comes in at $57K.
