Former Ram and current Falcon Todd Gurley has completed the sale of his home in Chatsworth following a notable upgrade; in the first days of the month he signed away ownership of his 5,133 sq. ft. home in exchange for a little more than $2 million. A few months earlier, however, he paid $4.2 million to take possession of Taylor Lautner’s home in the area.
The outgoing neo-Palladian-inspired Mediterranean-style dates to 2005. The home’s setting is dramatic—it sits on a 1.26-acre lot that has, as a backdrop, the Santa Susana Mountains. Its larger lot size allows for an expansive outdoor living area in the rear; it is designed around a lagoon-style pool with a waterfall feature.
The home’s interiors begin with an inlaid tile floor in the foyer. Tones throughout the shared spaces are warm—beige family, mainly—and craftsmanship design elements include millwork and, in the living room, a carved stone fireplace.
The master bedroom is one of five in the house, and features a double-door entry; it’s a voluminous space, and matched with a bathroom that features a step-up soaking tub and a shower inset with block glass.
