Six-time NBA All-Star Paul George has found a buyer for his Hidden Hills residence—rapper French Montana, who back in 2016 picked up Selena Gomez’s former home in Calabasas.
Montana is still owner of the Tuscan-style in Calabasas—although the house has seen time on the open market—but the move to Hidden Hills and George’s slightly-less-than 16,000 sq. ft. home for $8.4 million was apparently too attractive an opportunity to pass up.
The 1989-built mansion sports a design sensibility that soaring, light-filled volumes. It is often glassy and open, with light washing throughout the living areas by way of glass walls and a host of skylights. The great room boasts breathtaking scale, hinting at the palatial as retractable glass walls and massive clerestories rise to a vaulted raw ceiling, but the living style extends throughout the seven-bedroom home, even to the bedrooms.
The house features a games room, a gym, a home theater and a wine cellar. Outside, a large patio, a pool and spa, a full basketball court, and an entertainment complex including a fire pit are scattered among lawns, plantings, and fruit trees.
Montana’s first two albums, Excuse My French and Jungle Rules, reached the top 5 of the Billboard 200. His third and latest album, Montana, was released in 2019.
