Chris Paul Completes Sale of Houston Mansion

It took about fourteen months, but NBA star and Thunder player Chris Paul sold his estate in Houston this fall.

The property first hit the market in the summer of 2019, asking $8.3 million. The listing’s price had dropped to just over $7 million prior to the home changing hands once again. At this time, the sale price has not been revealed.

The property is a fairly unique one. A modern-style, it uses limestone blocks to express its boxy exterior. It measures about 10,000 square feet, with five bedrooms throughout. In the shared living area, a double-sided marble fireplace in a limestone accent wall is the centerpiece; hardwood flooring in a very warm finish—and reclaimed timber—adds a touch of the rustic to the living style.

In the back of the property, a pool house designed in the style of a 19th-century frontier shelter brings a surprising dimension to the outdoor living space. A spa, a patio, and a fairly broad expanse of lawn fill out the grounds.
