This e-bike from Mercedes and N+ Bikes is something of a stealth vehicle; dressed in a fetching shade of midnight, it’s also very difficult to tell that it is an e-bike at all.
The U.K.-based firm and Mercedes have agreed on a long-term licensing agreement, according to the company website. Each example of the e-bike—which is called the EQ Formula E Team eBike—is hand-built in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team paint factory.
The onboard electric apparatus is sneaked away into the bike’s frame, which gives this model its classic road-bike look. It’s lightweight, measuring in at just 37 pounds, and can reach a top speed of 20 MPH; its hydraulic disc brakes allow it to stop on a dime. A full charge can be completed inside 3.5 hours. And at $3,200, the bike is priced competitively.
