To develop the new 1260 Diavel, Ducati turned to Italian cousin and fellow VW Group member Lamborghini. The bike takes design inspiration from the Lambo Siàn, a limited-edition model that was introduced this summer and has since sold out.
The 1260 Diavel originates in the motorcycle firm’s Centro Stile division, with help from the Centro Stile division of Lamborghini, of course. The bike is outfitted with the 1.3L two-cylinder of the regular production Diavel, which delivers up to 157 horsepower and 95 pound-feet of torque at peak.
The bike’s exterior eerily echoes the Siàn, with the latter’s angularity in full flower, and a coat of Verge Gea paint that many associate with the reveal of the Lamborghini back in 2019. Like the hybrid supercar, the bike also features gold wheels.
Like the production Diavel, the 1260 features an extensive array of driver aids, with Ducati’s Traction Control Evo and Cornering ABS Evo among them.
The bike will be limited to 630 examples, with base pricing coming in at just over $30K.
