Singer, talent judge, and TV personality Nicole Scherzinger listed her Los Angeles home this month for $7.995 million. She has owned the four-and-four Desert Contemporary-inspired home going on five years.
The house near Sunset went up in 1990, but underwent a comprehensive renovation during Scherzinger’s ownership tenure. It is packed into a hillside, and designed to offer views from the three main floors that glassily face the local landscape and city skyline, and open to create an indoor/outdoor feel throughout.
Design features that express the common areas include a floating staircase, optional glass walls, plank hardwood, a neutral tonal scheme, a marble fireplace, and built-in shelving. The kitchen is an open galley-style, with a breakfast-bar island and a marble counter backsplash. Amenities include a spa, a gym, and a theater.
The interiors measure 4,600 square feet, with the terrace and balcony space in back a significant component of the outdoor living style, and a saltwater plunge pool incorporated into the outdoor living area overlooking Los Angeles.
Scherzinger has sold over 16 million records as a solo artist, and over 50 million records with the Pussycat Dolls. She is currently a judge on Fox’s musical competition show The Masked Singer.
