Rezvani’s Tank put the company on the map. The California-based company first appeared in 2014 with the Beast supercar, a technical-looking speed monster that is also quite beautiful; they still make the beast, but the so-called XUV—that is, extreme utility vehicle—Tank, that angular beastie, has performed well enough to engender additional excursions into its design potential.
And so rolls out the Hercules 6×6, Rezvani’s newest take on the tank, a stretched version of the XUV that’s comprehensively battle-ready if you step up to the Military Edition. It’s similar in design to the AMG G63 6×6, of course, but moves away from the civilian hard-utility persona with a litany of cloak-and-dagger goodies, specifically a smoke screen, an EMP defense system, tracker blinding, run-flat tires, a night vision system, and of course a host of bullet- and impact-proof features that reinforce and sheath in Kevlar.
The extended XUV can be optioned with a 7L, 1,300-horsepower, supercharged V8, but comes stock with a 3.6L V6. Either way, the truck of course lives up to its name with a 6×6 drive setting, and offers the same luxury-grade interior as the Tank.
The Hercules 6×6 starts a $225,000; the Military Edition at $325,000. As for the engine options, there’s the 6.4L HEMI V8 upgrade that costs $40,000, while the 7L V8 will set you back a whopping $249,000 (yes, for the engine alone).
