Louis Vuitton’s annual foray into High Jewelry breaks free of terrestrial fetters. The collection that has, in previous years, tackled themes as diverse as medieval women and travel-log escapism is this year dedicated to things heavenly. Vuitton calls it Stellar Times.
The collection is the second Vuitton High Jewelry entry created by Francesca Amfitheatrof, who was previously design director at Tiffany.
There are 90 pieces in the collection, using various gemstones to represent the exploration of space and the act of discovery. Each piece is associated with one of the collection’s seven themes, which include Lune Bleue and Astre Rouge.
