Khloe Kardashian Sells Calabasas Mansion for $15.5M—More Than Double Purchase Price

Last spring, Khloe Kardashian listed her estate in Calabasas for $18.95 million. The property sold quietly this fall. When the ink had dried, $15.5 million changed hands on behalf of the 11,000 square-footer. An overwhelmingly positive return, considering the home’s purchase price in 2014 was a $7.2 million.

The Mediterranean-style house was written up in Architectural Digest, where it was revealed that the updates undertaken by Kardashian included design inspiration from North Africa, Italy and the Middle East; details include leaded windows, wrought iron, and a clay tile roof. Overall, the living style is borrowed from the Italian countryside.

The lot size supports the design sensibility—at about two acres, the grounds offer abundant space for evoking a time and place. Large swaths of lawn, gardens, and meandering landscaping are interspersed with various outdoor living areas that include a fire lounge and a set of sofa swings.

Previous owners of the home include Justin Bieber, who occupied the house before selling it to Kardashian.

Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner recently bought adjacent homes in Hidden Hills for an undisclosed amount.
