Connie Britton—star of Nashville—listed this 1931-built Spanish-style home in the Los Angeles area this fall, and may sell it within weeks of it appearing on the open market. The house appeared with a $2 million ask in the final days of September, and received an offer shortly after.

Britton has owned the home since 2001, according to public records. The property is located above Beachwood Canyon, at the foot of the Hollywood sign.

The home’s exterior is expressed in a series of classic details particular to the style, including stucco walls, kiva-shaped windows, a covered porch, a clay tile roof, and an entry staircase with colorful tile risers. Inside the home period details take the day: original narrow-plank oak floors, exposed, stenciled ceiling beams, multiple sets of French doors, and casement windows.

Outdoor living spaces include a balcony and a terrace, both floored in terra-cotta tile and overlooking the boisterous flora of the landscaping; views from the terrace are superb. On ground level, a tile courtyard patio with a water feature makes an idyllic and timeless lounge.

Britton stars in the upcoming Good Joe Bell alongside Mark Wahlberg and Gary Sinise.
