Back in the spring of 2017, chanteuse Katy Perry purchased a heavily renovated, 1950’s-built modern-inspired traditional in Beverly Crest; the acquisition set her back $18 million.
Nestled into the hills he home’s setting is marvelously private, with rolling lawns and superb views. And, in case the five bedrooms and 5,500 square feet weren’t enough to accommodate guests, in December of 2018 Perry shelled out $7.45 million for an additional house in Hidden Valley.
The main house is staying, but the Hidden Valley guesthouse is going.
This month, Perry listed the gated property for $7.95 million. The traditional-style measures a little less than 4,400 sq. ft. It was built in 1960, and contains four bedrooms and five baths. The list of amenities includes a wet bar, a master with a veranda overlooking the backyard living area, a media room, a guest suite, and an office.
Interior living spaces are tastefully neutral, with pale plank hardwood, off-white, built-in shelving, and sets of French doors giving the living style an airy living style. The kitchen boasts a fireplace for the dayroom, and cabinetry with glass doors.
The rear of the property is lush and very quiet, with a pool, lawn, and flowering plants. The lot measures in at nearly one acre, and the location hugs a hillside, giving the spot an uncommon feeling of seclusion.
Perry has sold over 18 million albums and 125 million singles worldwide. Her latest album, Smile, was released earlier this year.
