Last spring, you may recall that two of Jodie Foster’s Southern California residences were active on the open market. The actor and director’s Beverly Hills traditional had popped up for sale in the winter, and sold in April for about $15 million.

This Calabasas contemporary Spanish-style followed the closing in short order, listing in May for $2.9 million, and sold this month for $2.65 million.

The home dates to 2005, and features a layout that places a courtyard lounge with a fireplace at its center. Its exterior features a blend of stucco and brick, with a tile roof and a loggia in back. It measures just under 5,000 sq. ft., and contains four bedrooms and five baths.

The shared living spaces are wide open, and culminate in a great room with a fireplace, a double-height ceiling, and dark-toned hardwood both above and below.

The property’s grounds occupy a 1.3-acre slice of Calabasas, and are enhanced by a paver walkway and poolside patio, a pair of grassy areas, and trim landscaping.

Foster won her first Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in 1988’s The Accused. She won her second for 1991’s The Silence of the Lambs.
