Atlanta Hawks player Dewayne Dedmon picked up a new property in Encino this autumn. Dedmon—who plays center for the team—paid $3.29 million for the contemporary farmhouse-style residence. The recent build that was completed only months ago.
The five-bedroom house’s streetside impression intrigues a little by virtue of a simple cosmetic flourish: a cardinal red door against a black-on-white background. Not a recent design innovation by any means, but in this case the dash of color is rather strikingly invitational and curiosity-inducing against the staid and utilitarian architecture of the style.
