Greg Kinnear has, according to public records, owned this Los Angeles home for nearly two decades. The time has come for the distinguished actor to sell the house, however, and so the property comes to the open market priced at $6.595 million.
The New England traditional-style house dates to 1941. The property’s brick front walk leads to a Colonial-style pediment entrance flanked by a pair of ornamental windows. Inside the house, original and tastefully evocative details abound, and include a marble fireplace with a raised hearth in the living room, panoramic wall covering in the dining room, and a kitchen finished in periwinkle and cream tones.
The master suite features a fireplace identical to the living room’s, as well as a bath with marble tub and vanity caps and walls in a very warm shade of yellow. The home’s guest bedroom—one of five in the home—sports a set of French doors that open to the grounds, where gardens, lawns, mature trees and a smallish pool with a brick sunlounge sets the outdoor living style as tastefully relaxed.
Greg Kinnear starred in As Good As It Gets and Little Miss Sushine. He recently played Bob Hope in the comedy-drama film Misbehavior, which also starred Keira Knightley. The film was released earlier this year. Kinnear’s upcoming projects include Dreamland. The film also stars Gary Oldman, Armie Hammer, and Lily-Rose Depp.
