Last spring, ‘Big Bang Theory’ alum Kumal Nayyar listed his almost unbelievably charming little Hollywood Hills estate for $3.995 million. It didn’t take too long for the property to beguile a new buyer, and for a sale price not terribly distant from the ask: $3.9 million.
A gander at the property exterior betrays the property’s appeal. The landscaping is designed as slightly overgrown, and wildly varied, with vines, palms, and flowers popping up by turns. A large but cozy patio complex with a bar, a fire feature, lounging and dining areas, and a pair of guest cabins are also featured.
The Spanish-inflected main house boasts interiors that have been given a contemporary look, with oak plank floors and blazing white walls, ceilings, wainscoting, fireplaces and exposed beams. Highlights include the office—which features a massive picture window—and the kitchen, which is floored with tile and features a skylight and a stone accent wall.
The outgoing property had become redundant since Nayyar upgraded to a tasteful Tudor in L.A. for $7.5 million.
Nayyar’s latest work is Think Like A Dog. The film also stars Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox.
