Formerly married actors Anna Faris and Chris Pratt listed their home in Hollywood Hills for $5 million back in the fall of 2018. It took nearly two years to sell the home, but the pair saw the property into the sunset this month. They stuck to their guns for the duration of the home’s time on the market, and never dropped the asking price for the property; in the end, they received $4.75 million for their patience.

The cozy Mediterranean-style and its lot represent something of a lifestyle estate, as the general layout puts a substantial chunk of the .6-acre lot to use as a tennis court, and packs in a pool and sunlounge as well.

The house is a 4,700 square-footer that was constructed in the latter half of the 1970s. It contains four bedrooms and four baths, and begins with a recessed entry opening via double doors into a rotunda foyer with a soaring raw timber ceiling. Particularly attractive spaces in this house include the wood-paneled family room, which features a semi-vaulted ceiling and a wet bar, and the living room, which offers a treat for the eyes: a singular carved hardwood fireplace mantel.

The family room opens to the patio, where an outdoor kitchen stands as an inviting preamble to the outdoor living style; it features slab stone countertops, a sink, and a grille. A poolside loggia gives the outdoor living area enough room for mid-sized gatherings, with dining and lounge space accounted for, and a border of privacy hedges giving the spot a charmingly secluded feel.

Pratt’s upcoming projects include Jurassic Park: Dominion, The Tomorrow War, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Faris recently relinquished her leading role in CBS sitcom Mom.
