NBA star Russell Westbrook—currently with the Houston Rockets—concluded the sale of his Los Angeles-area getaway this month when he accepted an offer of $4.375 million for the home. Westbrook joined the Houston Rockets last year, and listed the property about a month before he signed with the team.
The heavily renovated, 1960-built house is located in an especially quiet corner of Beverly Park. It measures a little less than 4,100 sq. ft., and contains five bedrooms and six baths.
The interiors of this home begin with a soaring foyer with a clerestory over the front door. Wide-plank hardwood floors—which appear to be walnut—run throughout the open-concept common area, and banks of pocketing glass offer transition to the pool and patio living space just outside the kitchen and family room. The upper level features a master suite with a private balcony, a large bath, and a walk-in closet as a primary accommodation.
Views from the property’s location are very fine, with the pool and sunlounge offering a sweeping survey of Los Angeles and the canyons.
