Resurfacing on the open market late this summer is Robin Williams’ Marin County residence. The waterfront house was initially listed about ten months ago, asking $7.25 million. The price cut is a substantial one: a million and a quarter off the top brings the current listing down to a far more attractive $5.995 million ask.

With over 6,500 sq. ft. of interior living space, the single-floor Spanish-style rambler boasts a big footprint. Its six bedrooms and seven baths include a master suite located at one end of the U-shaped house, with a glass door opening onto a very private terrace overlooking San Francisco Bay.

The interiors are bright and open, with superb flow; a liberated house. Outstanding spaces include the living room, a lengthy affair with built-ins and a fireplace at one end, and the office, which features paneling and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in what appears to be oak, as well as a marble fireplace. Views from most rooms—and that lovely step-down terrace—take in the Pacific.

Williams grew up in the area. He passed away in 2014. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Good Will Hunting.
