For the 2021 model year, Ford has a special GT to offer: the newest GT Heritage Edition, which this time around is presented as a homage model that recalls the Ford motorsports win at Daytona in 1966.
The GT that took the laurel at Daytona 54 years ago was black and red on a white body, and the 2021 GT Heritage Edition is dressed in kind, with exposed carbon fiber components, including the splitter, diffuser and spoiler. The cosmetics package also includes the Daytona GT’s number—98—on the variant’s doors, and an interior sheathed in red and black Alcantara.
Also featured on the 2021 GT Heritage are 20″ gold wheels. But the car can also be ordered with carbon fiber wheels, if optioned. The rims come with the Heritage Edition Upgrade Package, which also boasts the number 98 imprinted into the carbon fiber door panels.
