Baseball legend Wes Parker has put his home of fifty years up for sale on the open market. The property in Pacific Palisades has been the former Dodgers first baseman’s primary residence since the early 1970s when he paid $90,000 for it. He’s asking $7.195 million for the 8,426 square-footer, which is designed as a Cape Cod-inflected traditional, and contains five bedrooms and five baths.
The home’s interiors feature a color scheme built around warm wood, cool tones, and grays. Vaulted ceilings, recessed lighting, and the occasional clerestory are a few other details of the interiors.
A few of the more appealing spaces include a living room with a double-height ceiling—a second-floor gallery looks down from above, and a wet bar is nestled away in one corner—and the open kitchen/dining room/family room progression, which opens onto the outdoor patio via glass doors.
The lot measures in at over half an acre. A terraced garden, fruit trees, and brick walkways are outstanding features of the landscaping.
