When she put her cute Los Angeles-area house on the market earlier this summer, ‘Breaking Bad’ star Krysten Ritter must’ve priced it right; the $1.3 million ask helped stimulate a great deal of interest. In the end, the house sold quickly, and it sold above ask: it closed for $1.38 million early in August.

Glossy oak floors, floating plank shelves, and stained exposed beams help distinguish this home. Its sliding glass and masonry fireplace—now whitewashed—are two details that help date it…if you guessed early 1960s, you’re right on the money. This two-bedroom, two-bath house went up in 1963.
