In the wake of Lamborghini’s recent reveal of a new model—the Essenza SCV12 track car, a V12 monster limited to 40 examples—watchmaker Roger Dubuis announced a special watch with a design that echoes the model. It’s called the Excalibur Essenza SCV12.

The watch comes by way of collaboration between Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse track division and Dubuis and recalls the Excalibur Aventador S and more recently the Excalibur Huracan. Like the Essenza, the watch’s aesthetic locates beauty through technical intricacy. The watch face is a skeletonized, blacked out treat for the eyes that comes from the wheels of the Essenza, and customization options are available.

Like other Dubuis Lamborghini-inspired watches, the Excalibur Essenza SCV12 is a daring watch, and features bright dashes of color—lime green and red are among the options for the watch, which can be further customized —to make the drama of all that carbon fiber stand out.
