U.S. Open Champion Corey Pavin Asking $3.6M in Brentwood

Pro golfer Corey Pavin listed his home in Los Angeles this month for $3.599 million. The house is located in the Brentwood neighborhood, and contains three bedrooms and four baths.

The highlight of the shared living spaces is an unusually effective fireplace composition; the mantel and raised rusticated stone hearth comprise a pair of arrow-level planes that complement the angles of the gently vaulted ceiling; the master echoes it nicely. Hand-grooved plank hardwood, oversized windows, and a set of glass doors that may be opened for indoor/outdoor living are other features of the room.

The kitchen’s another standout of the 2,000 square-footer, though. Here, butcher block countertops and subway tile that extends to the ceiling border, as well as a stone-bordered hardwood floor, set a tone that is both refined and easygoing.

And, outside: an outdoor patio with a stacked stone water feature, an elevated sundeck, and a grille station.

Pavin won the U.S. Open in 1995.
