Anaheim Ducks goalie Ryan Miller has decided to part ways with his three-and-three modern-style above Sunset. Miller is asking $2.995 million for the home.

The single-floor residence was built in 1942, making it a pretty early modern. The interiors begin with an open-concept common area, which is interrupted with an accent wall that flanks the wet bar, and another which holds the three-sided gas fireplace. Oversize, single-pane windows and a set of sliders look out onto and offer access to the backyard living area, and richly toned hardwood brings depth and natural texture—in an idealized form—to the room.

The kitchen’s an intriguing mix of midcentury style and contemporary revision, but the former gets most of the attention via the cabinetry, which forcefully looks the part. The master bedroom features corner glass and a private deck; additional outdoor living space includes a guest bedroom terrace slash dining area, which transitions neatly to the pool and sunlounge.
