Now busy training in Florida, and with his $30 million contract extension inked in February of this year, NBA pro Andre Iguodala apparently isn’t planning on getting back to Oakland, California, very often over the next couple of years; he’s put his Bay Area house up for sale for $3.9 million.
The contemporary Tuscan-style home features a tile roof, column supports, and a recessed entry capped by a Juliet balcony. It dates to 2004, and extends to 5,716 square feet, with five bedrooms, five baths, a dual-island kitchen, a wine room and bar, and a guest suite across its two levels.
The centerpiece of the home is the curving staircase, which launches from the airy dining room and rises to a graceful second-floor gallery. Plank hardwood floors, reclaimed timber, and fanlight-capped sets of French doors also distinguish this central space.
The bedrooms are all unique. The master features a pair of glitzy chandeliers and a half-vaulted ceiling; the master bath features the same ceiling design, with the benefit of a pair of skylights.
The home’s exterior living area features a sports court and a putting green, as well as a pool and spa. Sliding glass doors open to the covered patio space, located right outside the catering-ready kitchen for easy entertaining.
