Following hot on the wheels of the Jacob and Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon—a timepiece which featured a W16 design—is this new watch from the Swiss-French collaborative.
This time around, the design highlights a twin turbo design, and is named in kind: The Twin Turbo Furious 300+, the second entry in the Twin Turbo series. The numerical designation, of course, calls attention to the fact that the Chiron Super Sport 300+ is capable of blazing speeds in excess of—you guessed it—300 MPH.
A hair-raising proposition for most drivers, but the spirit of it is exciting, and the watch captures that. Unlike the glossy gold Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon watch, Jacob & Co. designed this item with carbon fiber and titanium. Racing stripes emphasize the watch’s identity and source of inspiration. The timepiece is driven by a JFCM05 tourbillon movement, comprised of 832 components, and features a 50-hour reserve.
Three examples will be produced.
