This Mediterranean-style of 1940’s vintage surfaced on the open market this week. This turnkey lifestyle property in Hollywood Hills is currently owned by ‘Big Bang Theory’ graduate Kunal Nayyar and model wife Neha Kapur, but for $3.995 million you could call it your own.

The exterior of the property gets top billing here. The meandering series of patios and terraces, with romantic landscaping—including flowering trees and shrubs, palms, and vines—and traditional Italianate stone balustrade dividers are a liltingly attractive place to begin. A grill station and bar, a water feature or two, a fire feature, specimen plantings, a pair of one-and-one guest houses, and a pool are other features of the outdoor living space.

The main house’s ~4,000 square feet of interiors have been renovated, and the style is more or less contemporary; the home’s exposed beams are now white, the floors are natural-toned wide-plank oak in a satin finish, and recessed lighting has been installed. A few of the windows and sets of French doors appear to be original, though, and the home’s interior living style is far from reticent; it’s quite warm, just not effusive.
