Back in the summer of 2017, comedian Russell Peters purchased this sprawling home in Hidden Hills for $6.5 million. Three summers later, the house is back on the market for $8.5 million.
Not a bad return if it pans out. The home should sell fairly quickly, current events notwithstanding. The 1998-built house has a big footprint, with nearly 11,650 square feet of interiors to offer, and a slew of amenities that include a 14-seat home theater, a wet bar, a gym and sauna, a library and creative workspace, an aquarium, wine storage, a pizza oven, and a cigar humidor.
The interiors begin with a flashy foyer; a double staircase in black and white and beige stone floors, and a glitzy chandelier overhead. As the home develops, glossy hardwood, tray ceilings and crown moldings are on display. There are eight bedrooms and nine baths in all. The master boasts a trio of walk-in closets, as well as a private outdoor space, and a bath with a steam shower and spa tub.
The outdoor living area is similarly comprehensive. Three patios, a grill station, a putting green, a one-and-one guest house and a gazebo help fill out the nearly 1 ½ acres of grounds.
