Retired NFL star Jeremy Shockey has put his contemporary in Miami Beach up for sale. Shockey’s looking for a $4 million handoff for the 3,916 square foot house, a new construction which replaced a 1938-built home.
The exterior of the house features modified modern architecture. Industrial design elements, plentiful glass, an upper floor balcony, and an ornamental embellishment on the upper floor distinguish the façade.
The five-bedroom, six-bath house sports an open-concept shared living area divided by a centerpiece staircase. The kitchen hits the right note of contemporary flash and relaxed appeal, with a marble waterfall island inset with a cooktop.
The master receives the lion’s share of the upper level, and boasts a private sitting room, but every bedroom has a private balcony or terrace. Ground-level exterior living space includes a pool and sunlounge protected by privacy landscaping in the back of the property, and a grid lawn in front.
