Samsung’s television designs have pushed the envelope in recent years. Among other design features are vanishing sets, and the roll-away set that the tech juggernaut revealed at CES last year.
Their latest design takes the television experience outside. The design is sure to be a hit in warm-weather areas, where luxury homes’ outdoor recreation options now include large-screen units for outdoor movie-watching.
Samsung calls theirs the Terrace, and it boasts a brightness of 2,000 nit for watching telly even in direct sunlight. Quantum dot tech gives the televisions 100% DCI-P3 color, and Samsung’s Motion Rate 240 gives them a refresh of 120Hz. These televisions are also weather-resistant, naturally.
The Samsung Terrace is currently available in 55 inch, 65 inch and 75 inch screen sizes. A companion soundbar, also weather resistant, is available separately.
