Steven Yeun’s modern-style home in Los Feliz appears to have found a buyer in no time; the home is in pending status. The actor picked up the immaculately updated post-and-beam charmer for $2.3 million in 2016 and listed it earlier this spring for $2.5 million.
The revised home sports an interior living style that balances honey-toned wide-plank hardwood with off-white walls and ceilings. The house sports a postmodern pastiche of styles now, including a number of Japanese flourishes now; shoji-screen sliding doors, and a master bath with a wooden soaking tub that alleviates the industrial intensity of the poured concrete walls and ceiling with a little natural warmth and texture. The plank-and-steel ceiling of the shared living area brings a little loft aesthetic into the mix.
The backyard isn’t large, but it is exceedingly green and private, with thickets of hedges and mature trees giving the patio space and lawn a pleasing distance from the neighbors, and views expansive enough to augment that sense of considerable space.
