Actress Gabrielle Union and her husband, retired Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade, listed their waterfront mansion in Miami Beach last October with an asking price of $32.5 million. The couple has been active in the Los Angeles housing market; just a few months ago, they picked up an estate in Hidden Hills that rendered their collective wallet nearly $18 million lighter. Florida is, one would imagine, a thing of the past for the couple, as far as owning a permanent residence.
So the South Florida estate, which is up for grabs on the open market, remains a warm memory from the recent past. And the price cuts continue. The latest trims the listing price to $26.5 million.
The Florida Mediterranean seaside home dates to 2015, and sports architectural details borrowed from modern and Italian villa styles. It measures over 11,500 square feet, and boasts interiors that are luxuriously rustic Caribbean. Amenities include a home theater, a salon, a spacious master with a private balcony overlooking the grounds, a wine room, and an extensive outdoor living area with a loggia, a sports court, a pool and spa, and a cabana bar and summer kitchen.
The house joins a West Coast property the couple is in the process of selling: a contemporary in Sherman Oaks that they picked up for $6 million in 2018. The ask for that property is $6.2 million.
