Lamborghini’s newest Huracán EVO Spyder comes just in time for spring, and its infectious drop-top design could make you forget all about viruses for a little while, and just concentrate—enjoyably—on the next turn in the road ahead.

This time around, the Spyder is of the rear wheel drive variety. Folks who follow Lambo or hypercars in general will probably recall that the company rolled out its AWD Huracán EVO Spyder last winter.

The new variant is powered by the Huracán Evo’s 5.2L V10, making 610 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. The seven-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox transfers from the Huracán EVO as well, of course.

The Huracan EVO RWD Spyder can reach 62 MPH from a standstill in 3.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 201. Some concessions have to be made for the myriad pleasures of driving a very fast convertible, of course, and the Spyder isn’t quite as quick as the hard-top version of the hypercar. Its top speed is the same, but it does lose over half a second on the leap to 62 in contrast with its AWD sibling.

The interior of the RWD Huracán EVO Spyder features carbon fiber sport seats, with leather, Alcantara and Carbon Skin available for upholstery. The car’s tech is designed around an 8.4” touchscreen, with the latest version of Lambo’s LDVI software and Alexa-enabled HMI onboard.

The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder will be available this summer, priced from $233K.
