About a week ago, we covered the Rafael outdoor furniture collection. The series of outdoor relaxation essentials was designed by Paola Navone, and built by Italian furniture designer Ethimo.

For consideration as competition within Ethimo’s catalog is the Knits collection. This series has been around for about five years, but this spring’s additions have brought it back into the public eye refreshed and more versatile, and ready for a new warm weather season as casual sophisticates of the terrace set.

The Knits pieces use subdued tones for their fabrics, and modern lines for their teak frames. In natural and pickled, the teak is minimally finished to give a naturalistic appearance; pickled adds a slightly weathered patina to their appearance.

The two new pieces are the armchair and lounging sofa. They join the existing pieces, which include side and coffee tables, sunlounge, and wingback chair.
