Entertainment industry executive George Cheeks purchased a penthouse unit at The Residences at W Hollywood this spring, dropping six million dollars on a three-bedroom, four-bath unit crowning the building.

The penthouse measures over 4,700 square feet, with an additional 800 square feet of terrace space making the total square footage 5,500. The unit is designed in a deco-revival manner, with the dining room’s light fixture reflecting the style, and a curving bar with a series of brass bar stools also inspired by 1920s décor. There’s a bit of contemporary Scandinavian at work as well.

There’s a great deal of glass involved, and views from nearly all positions in the penthouse are superb; folding sections of wall open up the living area broadly to the views of downtown Los Angeles.
