The push toward an EV near-future is apparent in the tuning shop RevoZport; this spring, the specialist racing designer and manufacturer revealed details about its Tesla Model 3 package, the 3R Evo aero kit, which turns the plucky little commuter into a track-aspiring model.
As an evolutionary leap for the modest Model 3, the 3R Evo aero kit takes off from the company’s 3R, packing more track-oriented components and design flourishes into the souped-up Tesla to give it even more downforce for high speed control.
In front, this means the addition of a front spoiler that engages and disengages as needed. In back, a new lip component channels air according to necessity, and the car’s width has been increased for added stability. There’s a fair amount of carbon fiber added; the pictures show off the hood, but the Kevlar-carbon fiber trunk is the real weight-saver.
The 3R Evo kit is reasonably priced, as RevoZport enhancements generally are; the aero kit can be had for less than $10K.
