‘Baltimore Trilogy’ filmmaker Barry Levinson has, according to public records, been interested in selling his waterfront home in Maryland since at least 2015, when it was listed for $5.5 million. The property hit the market again this past February, asking just under $5 million, and sold for a little over ask at the end of last month.
The house is situated on a cul-de-sac in the Eastport district, on land featuring water frontage on three sides. It was built in 2010, but has the look of a creaky 1920’s East Coast mansion; it contains four bedrooms and five baths across its three floors, and 6,740 square feet of living area in all.
The house is located near the Annapolis Yacht Club, and offers views of it. An exercise room and large entertaining space are among the amenities. There’s no screening room, oddly, but there is space for one.
Levinson’s films include Diner, Tin Men, The Natural, and Wag the Dog. More recent projects include The Humbling, which was written by Buck Henry and starred Al Pacino.
