Modern design meet primitive in the Rafael collection. The series of outdoor furniture items were designed by Paola Navone, and built by Ethimo.

Ethimo specializes in carefully conceived outdoor furniture, the kind of pieces that are remarkable enough to spur comment and even conversation, but able to handle the elements without much attention from their owners. Their designs are breezy and substantial, refined and whimsical, and the Rafael collection follows in the tradition nicely.

Staggered, irregular slats and muted beach tones carry the soul of the collection, which includes a lounge armchair, daybed, sunloungers, and coffee tables. Wood frames are finished in two teak tones, ‘brushed’ and ‘pickled’. Lava stone or marble is used to cap the coffee tables.
