Retired NFL player Nick Hardwick didn’t have a long wait after listing his ranch-style home in San Diego. Within weeks of hanging a $1.995 million price tag on the 3,717 square-footer, an acceptable offer came in. $20K over ask.
A recent remodel to the interiors has resulted in a blazing treatment; natural-toned plank oak floors bring some texture and depth into the home, but the shade of white is particularly bright, and on the whole the house is somewhat ethereal-looking as a result. The layout rambles along nicely, though, with a good sense of proportion, and there’s enough glass to keep the green of the landscaping in sight.
Amenities and features include an indoor/outdoor Sonos system. In keeping with the San Diego lifestyle, the home’s exterior living area is eminently usable on a daily basis, with a summer kitchen and bar backing up the pool-and-patio recreation space.
Hardwick spent the entirety of his 10-year career with the Chargers. He retired in 2015.
