Retired NBA champ Horace Grant listed his traditional ranch near Pismo Beach for sale with an asking price of $1.699 million. The estate is equestrian-oriented, and the main house sits on five acres of land, with stables, tack room, and corral among the equine facilities included.

The house measures 4,200 square feet, with five bedrooms and four baths throughout its single floor. The interiors are inviting and relaxed, with beige stone and honey-toned plank hardwood floors, off-white walls that occasionally veer into warmth, and soft arches.

The shared living spaces in the Arroyo Grande home are quite open. The kitchen features hardwood cabinetry, a stone-capped island with an auxiliary sink, and a tile stove and counter backsplash. A formal dining room, a sunny dayroom, and a living room with a fireplace fill out the common areas.

Outside, a sports court and a playground augment the horse-oriented recreational potential.

Grant helped the Chicago Bulls and L.A. Lakers take home two championships apiece during his 17-year career. He retired in 2004.
