DeAndre Jordan is no stranger to house-flipping in Malibu. In 2018, he put a 4,600 square-foot modern in the upscale seaside city for sale for $6.5 million, after buying it about a year before. In 2017, he took $12 million for a Cape Cod-influenced mansion in Pacific Palisades.
This winter, the NBA player listed this villa for sale in Malibu, but the asking price represents a tiny loss; Jordan purchased the place for $10 million in the spring of 2018, and currently has it up for sale on the open market at $9.995 million.
The Tuscany-inspired house isn’t oceanfront; to compensate, it sits on a very large lot for Malibu: 3.5 acres. It’s also fairly large, with nearly 9,000 square feet of interior living space; there are six bedrooms and eight baths throughout its three floors.
The interiors of the home are quite formal, with distressed plank hardwood and travertine floors, fireplaces, exposed beams, columns, and ornamental ceilings. There are at least three fireplaces, with an ornate carved example gracing the master bedroom; the suite also feature French doors that open onto a private balcony, as well as a fairly large walk-in closet and a bath with checkerboard tile, plentiful marble, and a soaking tub.
Amenities in the home are extensive. A home theater with tiered seating, a wine cellar and tasting room, and a games and entertainment room with a wet bar top the list. The meandering property includes a casita, a pool, spa and terrace, a water feature, lawns, a covered dining area, and an outdoor bar with a grille kitchen.
In 2019, Jordan played for both Dallas and New York, before being signed by the Brooklyn Nets over the summer.
